Other SFML Projects

I’m using SFML a bit over a year now and ever so often I run into the question either asked by myself or some other people on the forum or the IRC:

Are there any ‘big’ projects out there using SFML?

And with ‘big’ one is talking into the direction of commercial or free but with a bigger user base and rich ideas. Often it gets compared with SDL’s quite big list of games.

Answering this question is a bit tricky since the definition is not 100% precise and it’s possible that some big company is using SFML internally but doesn’t say anything about it, which is okay since SFML is release under the awesome zlib/png license.

So I’ll let you decide if SFML has some ‘big’ projects by providing links to various creations, although some are still in development

Brendon from Blendo Games created Atom Zombie Smasher(commercial) and one or two other games with C#, mono and SFML.net. http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=4024.0

  2. (Google Translate) Here I leave a link to my game, so you just see him (although maybe you already saw SFML forum). Using SFML for window management, input and GUI. The rest is OpenGL.

      Cool!
I’ll mention it in the next SFML News article. I’m not sure what I’ll be doing with the page here, so it doesn’t have anything to do with your game, that I’m not gonna put anything up here. 😉
